Hi,
ReplyDeleteNothing happens when I try to use importexport. If followed the directions that you give, but nothing happens. Otherwise this sounds like it would be what I am looking for to study with.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to take the time to say that I use your app daily and really enjoy it's simplicity and I think it's a great app that gets the job done. There are a few suggestions that I'd like to make personally that I think would improve the app if you decide to continue to update the app and make it better.
1. There should be some sort of confirmation before importing and exporting to/from the importexport.xml file. A couple of times I have overwritten the contents of a stack of 100 or so cards by accidentally pressing the Import menu option. A confirmation box would come in handy to prevent this from happening.
2. Also, it'd be good to be able to run a "quiz" in a reverse mode, where the back of the card temporarily becomes the front of the card and vice versa.
3. It'd also be great to be able to select the .xml that you want to import instead of only being able to import the importexport.xml file. Since you don't have a confirmation feature for import I have had to backup all of my card sets on my computer. This is time consuming and cumbersome (and all because there is no confirmation pop-up/dialog).
4. Also, sometimes when my screen goes into a sleep mode and I was working on a card, the randomization gets all screwed up and oftentimes, cards that I have already viewed will appear again and the card count will get re-numbered/mis-numbered as well.
Thanks for the great app and keep on working to make it better b/c there are others out there but none of them are as good as what you have began to develop.
